We are currently seeking fun and committed individuals to join our team of carers and support workers at Casson Communities!
Casson Homes Inc has been providing supportive accommodation since 1922 for those marginalised and living with a mental illness. The Casson Communities division provides specialist mental health support to NDIS clients throughout the community.
You will be providing support to NDIS clients in the community in order to help them achieve their goals as set out in their NDIS plans. This includes helping clients access the community and increase social participation, assistance with personal care, transport, helping clients improve life and personal skills, and providing emotional support.
A certificate III in aged care or equivalent is required for a carer position. No qualifications are required for the NDIS Support Worker position.
Successful candidates must be empathetic and have a passion for mental health. Good communication skills, punctuality, good time management skills, and an ability to actively listen are essential.
